Itching

Matt and I are just itching to get out to the farm. We both wish we had lots of money to get the foundation put in and the lumber package purchased but it is going to take a minute and we are learning to be patient.

I hadn't posted the hole that was dug for the foundation of the house. Today we were out there and I just went and sat on the side of it and let the sun touch my face. I watched and listened as the breeze blew through the trees making the leaves dance. It is so peaceful out there. I don't know how many times I will say that, but it is SO peaceful.

Progress

It seems to be taking much longer than we would like to get things going. Perhaps it is because somedays it seems more overwhelming than other days. We are finally moving forward on getting power out there. This has taken some hoops that we had to jump through. Matt has hired a couple of people to help out which makes a HUGE difference. The entire greenhouse now has all the posts up and by the end of the day will be well on the way to being completely finished. It should be ready for plastic next week. Today we are having the hole dug for the house. Here are shots of the driveway and the house area.

I LOVE to be out there. I saw a hawk and the wild flowers are beautiful. I ate a raspberry that tasted AMAZING!!! And I am so incredibly excited about the fact that there are frogs everywhere! EVERYWHERE!!!! I really, really hope that they make a lot of noise. I love the sound of frogs.
The kids love it out there. Almost as much as me. Corban and Makenna took turns riding on the 4 wheeler for well over an hour. I can't wait for a farm house to be constructed in the hole that is being dug at this moment!
