This incredible life!
Life has so many twists and turns and just when I think there will be moments of peace multiplied others things prove that is not the case. Because of this I try my darnest to focus on the sunlight that can be found everyday. There truly is ALWAYS some to be seen if we have eyes to recognize it. Here are several of the rays of light in this last week: baby chicks, strawberry plants, pumpkin blossoms, hiking, glacial lakes, dirt moved creating an incredible backyard and Jamie coming to visit me. I love this life- opposition and all!

LOVING THIS!!!
I felt so grateful for everything. Seriously. School is done. I think I passed all my classes and not having to worry about getting assignments in has been amazing. This morning I spent an hour studying gospel things like why it is good to rise early in the morning. I made bread, visited with a friend, picked strawberries, walked with Kenna, unpacked a few boxes, watched Studio C and ate dinner on the front porch. Tonight the girls decided it would be fun to take an evening dip so I joined them to take pictures. Evidently the water was really warm. I don't know since I was just taking pictures. This may go down as the greatest summer in history.
I love that this one looks like they are squatting on the water-

Dandelion wishes and strawberry love
We're still kind of between houses but everything is now moved except one more load and we are cleaning at Stonebridge. This week was full of rockwall climbing, dandelion wishing, strawberry loving, porch sitting and kitchen unpacking. What an incredible life. Today it is pouring rain. We had the windows open all night listening to it. I love that sounds. Everything is incredibly green this morning. Yesterday Matt got us patio furniture, discounted because the season is basically over. I LOVE it. I adore the porch. I have been spending much time out there. I also went to cub camp with Corban this week one day. He smashed the rock wall climbing. I love that boy!
Here's to a new week and more beautiful and simple things!

Life on the Farm
Where to begin... I can't even think of all the words to express what I am feeling with this move. Makenna and I go on walks together every night. We discuss strange things. I sit on the porch in the mornings and study my scriptures. I love waking up to the sun filtering through the trees when I look through my picture window in my bedroom. I actually love making dinner now. I was shocked at this feeling. I had a moment where I thought how sad I would be to not make dinner for all my kids when they move away. It is my kitchen- mine. The other house never felt like it was mine. There are cucumbers, strawberries and pumpkins growing. We walked through some of the oat field that is growing next to the greenhouse last night on our walk and the storm clouds were gorgeous gathering behind the house. We can hear the birds and squirrels singing in the mornings. It feels like peace to me. This whole experience has had the hand of God through out it again and again and I find it hard to express all that I feel in regards to it. Life is incredibly amazing and we are incredibly blessed and because of that we now get to bless the lives of many others. That feels exactly right.

Farmtime and chicken nuggetts
We are finally running out of things to take to the farm. I unpacked several things today and just loved this view from the kitchen. There is still several things that have to be done but move in date is this week. The beam on the ceiling has to be wrapped, the kitchen still is not finished and the office needs the desk and shelves done. But it feels like home!
I sat on the couch and I LOVE the picture window up the stairs. It brings in so much light. I just had to take a picture. We still need to stair treads and the shelves behind the piano done as well. Oh and door handles too.
Then when I got home 300 chicks and 20 turkeys greeted me! Matt likes to do things big. They are currently housed in the garage at the stonebridge house. That should be for just a few days. They are adorable and fluffy!

This week!
Matt finally got home from Dillingham and we went shopping. We got these incredible couches that are so comfortable and deep. I really love them. We also got all of our appliances. The only things we need to move in are our beds and the table. We also have food and stuff but we are almost there.
The cucumbers are starting to look great in the greenhouse. It is a little late but we should still get a really good crop since they are in the greenhouse and we can have them produce even after the first frost.
And I really loved the look of my strawberries bucket in the incredible sink that we have. So excited for everything that is happening for us!

Edible Sunshine
We got our first strawberry harvest today. I posted the above picture on facebook and my friend commented with "Edible sunshine." I LOVE THAT!!! We truly are harvesting sunshine out there. And those strawberries taste so incredibly good we were having a hard time not eating them all in one sitting.
I also wanted to share this picture I took of the girls out in a field of flowers that I took the other day. I love it out there. It is so magical!

First strawberry
Two days ago I ate the first strawberry ever produced by Harvest Point Farms. Pretty exciting stuff. We will be picking a lot of strawberries this week.
