First Planting

We have begun the planting season.
We spent the afternoon planting trays of tomatoes, celery, peppers, rosemary and zinnias.
I'm excited for them to start growing.
It felt so good to be in the dirt again.
This year is going to be fun with all the things we are growing.
We are going to have a HUGE push of selling strawberries this year and hopefully that will finally give us some profit from the farm.
Mostly we haven't made much money and just been enjoying the journey, but this year we could really use an income.
We also are experimenting with something called snail planting.
You take some type of plastic strip and lay soil on it then roll it up and plant the seeds on top.
This gives the seedling more room to grow.
We'll see how it works.
