Life is different now that they are all adults.
Our opinions don't seem to hold as much weight and they honestly don't seem to care about asking for them. haha.
Weird.
We've (and by we, I mean me) had to pivot and find new standing with all of this.
What is my role now?
Still their mom, but different.
I still give a little unsolicited advice, but it is more tempered now.
I still whack Dallin on the bum and when he says, "Hey, that's mine!" I say, "Well, I made it!"
I still check in with them.
But they don't need me as much anymore and that is weird.
However, they are incredible humans and amazing parents and I still like spending my time with them!
