We wanted to give Shawna and her boys a good taste of summer in Alaska and Alaska cooperated with some beautiful weather.
It was in the 70's for days.
We took our picnic baskets, paddle boats, kayaks and fishing magnets to mirror lake and just enjoyed every moment.
The mosquitos didn't not show up either.
And there were 42 of us that came.
We were only missing 5 people.
Carrie is here in Alaska helping out Eden and so even she was able to make it.
It was one of those moments where you just sit back and take it all in.
A moment where I left so grateful to be part of this family.
Our lives are so blessed to have each other.
