I got my next instrument!
While we were in Hawaii, we went into this ukulele store and on the shelf was a banjolele.
I had no idea that was even a thing.
It's got 4 strings like a ukulele but it sounds and looks like a banjo, just smaller.
I fell in love with it, but because of luggage space I decided to just buy one once I got home.
Well, it came today and I am so excited to start learning.
I never was able to get the banjo down because it was hard with the metal strings and all six of them, but I have played a little ukulele before and I think this will be much easier for me.
I am grateful for the little things that bring me joy right now.
