It was Ella's birthday and Jamie and Jake got to come to it.
I went just to see those kids because I still feel like they are mine.
Jamie just talked and talked to me.
She told me so many things that she remembers from living with us.
It healed a little bit of the broken in my heart.
She remembered sliding down the stairs on mattresses and having fort tents on the couch.
She remembered that I would feed her Annie's macaroni and cheese.
I am so grateful that she remembers all the good things.
I love her so much and am so glad that she is in my life again.
And I went to the shop and saw the progress on the cabinets.
We are getting so close to those being done.
That is exciting.
