When we had Thanksgiving back in November, we grabbed an extra turkey.
About a month ago we talked about having a second Thanksgiving and this week Matt decided that it was time to do it.
But it kind of turned into ghetto Thanksgiving.
Here are the events-
*the bottom oven stopped working and the top one was too small to fit an entire turkey, so Matt had to cut it apart to fit it in.
*since the only we had was the top oven, the rolls got cooked in the air fryer/convection oven. Which was also not big enough so the rolls got burned on top.
*the green bean casserole was made with cream soup- which we never do
*the table became the kids table and there were not enough seats for the adults so Matt just sat on the couch.
*I made orange jell-o with oranges but it didn't set in enough time so we put it out in the snow and then everyone just ate it out of plastic cups.
We had such a great time though.
Kenna and Brittan and her family weren't there, but it was still good times and good company.
We played a card game which I actually liked and just got to be together.
I think we should have second Thanksgiving more often.
