The morning started out disappointing but then it just got better and better.
We went down to get breakfast at the hotel and it was so gross.
We literally threw the food in the trash, got in the car and went to this cute breakfast spot where they gave us a TON of food for $8.99.
This is a picture of just my food for that amount-
It was lightly raining on us and there was this huge arbor with plants growing up it.
I love that temple.
There is always such a great feeling at the temple.
Peace.
We wanted to stop at Kartchner Caverns, but there were no available spots so we just headed to Thatcher.
But on the way, there was sign after sign telling us about The Thing.
And we decided that we NEEDED to know what the thing was.
That's good marketing, by the way.
So when the exit came we pulled on and paid the $5 per person to walk through this bizarre exhibit about aliens and dinosaurs and then The Thing.
Here are the photos from that...also we still are not sure what the thing is, but the last picture is of it.
We ended the evening at Winnie's house with dinner, flying rubber chickens and singing around the piano.
Her homestead is incredible.
I'm so glad we got to spend time there with her.
