It's my favorite time of year right now.
It has been too rainy but happy things are happening.
We have wild flowers everywhere.
The dandelions have faded and the lupine is now out in force.
We are not seeing much fireweed yet, but that will happen soon.
The fruits are setting on the plants and other plants we are harvesting.
I harvested a lot of rhubarb and then made my almond rhubarb coffee cake that I make every year.
I also juiced rhubarb and plan on making some jelly from the juice.
I'm starting to see strawberries, cucumbers, peppers, and squash.
I've harvested spinach and rhubarb and tons of herbs.
And the dragonflies have arrived to knock back the mosquitoes.
It's just the best time of the year!
