Trimming the tree

The Christmas season has begun at our house. We decided on a fake tree this year so we could put it up sooner and leave it up later. I love it. I'll miss the pine smell but I won't miss the mess and the worry of our house burning down.

We cranked the Christmas music and decorated the tree as a family. Missed Sam this year. We are just in that season. I'm excited for all this season brings. I love that the world focuses on the holiday even if they are not always focused on Christ they are not as consumed with themselves and that is beautiful. As for me, this season I am looking for ways to bless the lives of others.
