Alaskans are funny people.
Because we are so far removed from 'normal' society we do crazy things when 'normal' society comes here.
Alaska finally got a Sonic!
And in proper Alaskan fashion, like when we got Dairy Queen, Olive Garden, Target and Krispy Kremes, people are willing to wait in line for a long time to get what they seek.
We heard rumors that people were sleeping outside the Sonic to be first in line when they opened.
Seriously!
It has been opened now for probably a month and the line doesn't seem to be letting up much.
It might have something to do with the fact that McDonalds is being totally rebuilt and is closed, but also Alaskans are crazy.
We decided to finally attempt to get some drinks today and ended waiting in the drive thru line for 45 minutes!
I learned several things from this experience-
1. Sonic drive thru lines are a good time to level up on any game you are currently playing on your phone.
2. I don't like soda that much!
Matt and Corban were also in line with us!
