Yesterday when we took a break from getting stuff ready for market I decided it was time to walk around the property and see what new flowers I could find.
I love doing this!
Alaska always grows flowers all summer long and this batch that I found was so colorful.
I found two sunflowers growing in the greenhouse from spilled sunflower shoots.
That was fun to find them since sunflowers do not grow wild here.
The fireweed is almost gone which means autumn is knocking at our doors.
But that is evident in the landscape.
It's been really hot this summer and the trees have suffered so it appears autumn is coming early.
