This year was our experiment year for pumpkins and I am so excited how things are measuring up. We planted pie pumpkins, racers, and giants. The pies are already mostly orange which is really early for us. A few of the racers, which are like jack-o-lanterns, are also turning orange. The giants are just fun and practically double in size daily. They are a deep yellow from the get go. I'm so excited how they are doing and look forward to having a full blown pumpkin patch next year with rows and rows and rows of pumpkins that people can take a hayride to the field to pick their orange delight!
