This is pretty amazing actually.
I harvested lettuce in Alaska in December!
I am really excited about that.
Especially now that my fingers have thawed out.
This morning Makenna and I discussed bringing cookies to a woman in our ward for the #lighttheworld.
However, as I went throughout the day I decided that it would be awesome to deliver lettuce to her and some of our dearest friends.
So I went out and harvested about 12 bags of lettuce.
We will be Christmas caroling and delivering lettuce in a few hours.
The lettuce tastes so yummy.
The beds are taking a nap now until about February, but I love that I had lettuce today.
Don't mind the crazy eyed, knife welding woman in the picture.
I was really excited!
