Friends

Twenty six years ago I went to a little podunk college in Thatcher, Arizona.
While there, I made friendships that have lasted my lifetime and that I treasure.
One of those friendships is with Nicole.
On Sunday night she came over and stayed the night with us.
She is visiting Alaska from Utah.
We talked into the night and when morning came we talked some more.
We continued catching up as we had breakfast together and then went out and weeded the ridiculous pumpkin patch.
I firmly believe that every single person we meet in our lives was given to us by a loving Heavenly Father.
We get to learn from, serve and love each other.
That is a beautiful thing.
Also, it is a beautiful thing to have those weeds pulled.
